Tails 5.2 has arrived with several fixes and changes. Version 5.0 updated to a new Debian version (Bullseye) and a few versions to iron out the rough edges certainly wouldn’t hurt.
As usual, the team updated some software packages. This includes:
- Updated to Tor Browser 11.5
- Update to Thunderbird 91.11.0
There are a few more commits, which you can find in the changelog . There are no known issues specifically for Tails 5.2.

You can upgrade to Tails 5.2 from 5.0 or later. If you are still using 4.x, you will have to perform a manual upgrade. For manual updates or upgrades, you can find the latest version on the project’s website .
