Return to Monkey Island is a sequel to The Secret of Monkey Island and Monkey Island 2: LeChuck’s Revenge . I loved these games, although I found the ending a bit unsatisfying. That’s why I’m really looking forward to the next part. Series creator Ron Gilbert is on board, so I have high hopes that Return to Monkey Island will be really good.
In any case, the developers allow a look behind the scenes and have published a gameplay trailer.
I’ve added the game to my Steam wishlist right away so I’ll know when it’s going to be released. The planned date is 2022 – so it may be a while before the adventure sees the light of day. You can find Return to Monkey Island on Steam .
